GlutenFreeBCN is a free directory and editorial blog covering gluten-free restaurants, bakeries, cafés, and shops in Barcelona, Spain. Listings are curated from publicly available sources, certifications from Celíacs de Catalunya, community submissions, and first-hand visits by our editorial team.

2. No Medical or Safety Warranty

This is the most important section of these Terms — please read it carefully.

Celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders are serious medical conditions. While we work hard to verify gluten-free claims, food preparation environments change constantly: ingredients are reformulated, suppliers change, kitchens reorganize, staff turn over, and cross-contamination protocols vary day to day. Information on this Site is provided "as is" and for general guidance only.

You are responsible for verifying gluten-free safety at the venue, directly with staff, before consuming any food or beverage. We strongly recommend asking about cross-contamination procedures, dedicated fryers, separate prep surfaces, and staff training every time you visit — even at certified establishments. We make no warranty, express or implied, that any place listed on the Site is safe for any individual celiac, gluten-sensitive, or allergic person.

3. User Submissions

When you submit a place suggestion or restaurant listing through our contact form, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to submit it. We may accept, reject, edit, or remove any submission at our sole discretion.

4. Sponsored Listings and Advertising

Some listings on the Site may be marked as sponsored. Sponsored listings are paid placements that appear at the top of search results with visual highlighting. We disclose sponsorship clearly on every sponsored card. Sponsorship does not imply that a place is safer, better, or more accurate than non-sponsored listings — only that the owner has paid for placement.

5. Intellectual Property
